Hello I'm Sarah,
I'm Jay's wife and our business manager.
Its me you will speak to when you call us as Jay will likely be busy working on a clients vehicle.
It is very important to us both that your call is answered by a real person and that we can offer a friendly and helpful service from that first call to the diagnostics and repair of your vehicle.
I am not an auto electrician but I have a very good understanding of the basic systems in your vehicle and common electrical malfunctions and in most cases I can book you in a suitable appointment with Jay and answer any queries you may have.
If you have specialist requirements I will arrange a suitable time for you to discuss them with Jay prior to you booking, or before your appointment.
As well as managing the diary its also my job to keep you updated, order and search for parts, arrange delivery, collections & help you with any queries or concerns you may have.
We get quite booked up but normally we will be able to offer a mobile appointment in roughly 3-5 working days, sometimes we can offer workshop appointments sooner.
We do not offfer any same day, evening, weekend or emergency appointments (unless you are an existing customer in special circumstances)
For a mobile appointment we will ask you for your full address a mobile number and your vehicle make, model and registration. You will recieve a confirmation via text message of your appointment date & time. Afternoon appointments are approximate due to the nature of car electrical work so Jayor I will message with any updates on times if he is running early or late.
We require that you are present at the begining and end of your appointment so we can discuss any findings and options with you and we accept payment on the day by card, cash or bank transfer.
For a Workshop appointment (while you wait) we will ask for a mobile number and your vehicle make, model & registration.
You will receive a confirmation via text message of your appointment and the address of the workshop.
Please note that we have no facilities at the workshop other than seating and free Wi-Fi, we politely ask that you do not bring any children or pets and that you remain in the workshop area as we are based on a working family farm.
Workshop (inpatients) If your vehichle is staying with us for a few hours or days we will ask you for a mobile number and arrange a convenient time for you to drop off/collect. We are able to arrange a trusted car transporter for non running vehicles and also can offer a collection/drop off service locally.
We have a lovely local farm café if you would prefer to have lunch or a coffee/cake whilst Jay looks at your car we are happy to drop you there.
